NFTA Announces Metro Rail Maintenance
BUFFALO, N.Y- The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) has announced scheduled single tracking on portions of the Metro Rail system during multiple dates in June. This planned work is essential to maintaining a safe, efficient, and comfortable travel experience for all riders.
Above-Ground Single Tracking:
Beginning Saturday, June 7 through Sunday, June 8, single tracking will be in effect on the above-ground portion of the Metro Rail. The following stations will be impacted:
• Fountain Plaza
• Lafayette Square
• Church Street
• Seneca
• Canalside
Underground Single Tracking:
In addition, single tracking will take place underground from Monday, June 9 through Friday, June 13, and again from Sunday, June 22 through Saturday, June 28. The affected stations will include:
• University
• LaSalle
• Amherst Street
