NFTA Holds Memorial Day Flag Lowering

BUFFALO N.Y.-On Wednesday, May 21, the Niagara Falls Transportation Authority (NFTA) held a Memorial Day Flag Lowering Ceremony at its headquarters to honor the brave men and women who have given their lives in service to our nation.

The event brought together NFTA employees, local veterans, and community members in a moment of unity, reflection, and respect.

The American flag was lowered to half-staff in recognition of the ultimate sacrifice made by those who served in the Armed Forces.

The ceremony also included a moment of silence to honor the fallen. The NFTA will  also have a remembrance missing man table at its MTC, the Niagara Falls Airport , and Buffalo Niagara International Airport.

The NFTA is proud to support veterans and their families and remain committed to honoring their contributions not only on Memorial Day ,but throughout the year.
