Niagara Falls Trolley Service

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Friday May 10th at the Cambria Hotel in Niagara Falls USA to announce the return of Metro's beloved Niagara Falls Trolley Service for the 2024 season. NFTA-Metro is excited to celebrate the monumental 20th year of partnership with the community of Niagara Falls and the Niagara Falls Hotel Association.

Since its inception two decades ago, the Niagara Falls Trolley Service has been an integral part of the Niagara Falls experience, providing convenient and accessible transportation for residents and visitors alike to explore the beauty and attractions of the region.

The trolley service will run from Friday, May 24 (Memorial Day Weekend) through Sunday, October 27, and offers riders the opportunity to visit key destinations in Niagara Falls, including restaurants, attractions, and shopping areas.

This event included remarks from our host and emcee Frank Strangio, President NF Hotel Association and hotel owner; our own James Morrell, Director of Public Transit; NYS Senate Minority Leader Robert Ortt; NYS Assemblyman Angelo Morinello; The Honorable Robert Restaino, Mayor of the City of Niagara Falls; John Percy, President & CEO, Niagara Falls USA/Visitor Center.

Assemblyman Angelo Marinello presented NFTA’s Public Affairs Director, Helen Tederous, on behalf of the NFTA, with a NYS certification and citation to officially recognize the NFTA's 2024 Trolley Service.
