NFTA-Metro (Metro) is the regional transportation authority for WNY, serving both Erie and Niagara Counties of New York. Metro is a public agency dedicated to the people it serves. It also employs over 1000 workers covering various specialties in the transportation field.

Mission Statement: To enhance the quality of life of residents and visitors by providing the highest level of safe, clean, affordable, responsive, and reliable public transportation through a coordinated and convenient bus and rail system.
