Where to Buy
MetGo cards can be purchased and reloaded at ticket vending machines (TVMs) located at Metro Rail stations, the Metropolitan Transportation Center, Buffalo Niagara International Airport, Niagara Falls International Airport, Niagara Falls Transportation Center, Portage Road Transportation Center, and participating retail partners.

$5.00 Day Pass – Unlimited travel per day
$25.00 7-Day Pass
Passes are available for purchase at Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs), and on apps we partner with, such as Token Transit and the Transit app.
Please note that passes purchased at TVMs are not eligible for reduced fare discounts. For more information on reduced fares and eligibility, visit the reduced fares page.
Summer Go Pass
Metro offers the Summer GO Pass program to youths up to 17 years of age. The pass allows travel on the Metro Bus or Rail system seven days a week during service hours.
The pass can be used by one person per trip, beginning the day after school ends in June through the day before school resumes in September. Passes can be purchased at the Metropolitan Transportation Center.
Token Transit
You can pay your NFTA-Metro bus or rail fare quickly and easily with your smartphone using the Token Transit app.
On the Token Transit app, you can purchase tickets using your credit or debit card. Tickets can be purchased for immediate use or stored for future trips.
As you board the bus, scan your QR code on the reader. On the metro rail, if a ticket inspector requests your ticket, show them your phone displaying your QR code activated ticket.
Can I still pay cash?
Cash payments are still accepted for fares on all buses, and for passes at all TVMs, but are not eligible for fare capping or reduced-fare discounts (unless the rider possesses a valid Reduced Fare MetGo card). Cash fares on buses are single ride only.
