DL&W station will NOT be accessible from the start of service each day until 4:00PM. Trains will start operating from DL&W at 4:08PM and service will follow the current single tracking schedule for the rest of the evening. Canalside will be the last inbound stop during the day until DL&W Station opens at 4:00PM for KeyBank Center events.

Starting Monday, April 6, Metro Rail will single track between Church Station and Canalside Station.

During this time, trains will be traveling in both directions (to University & to DL&W) on the outbound track (to University). The inbound (to DL&W) platforms will be closed at Church, Seneca, and Canalside stations. Please wait for your train at the outbound platform.

During this service disruption, riders using mobility devices or requiring ADA-accessible service should note the following:

Fare-Free Bus Service: Route 8 Main buses will operate fare-free between Allen Station and Canalside.

Rail Service Impacts: Single tracking will be in effect starting April 6.

Please note when riding Metro Rail starting April 6:

  • Underground stations to Canalside, Seneca, Church: Please board the rear train car.
  • Fountain Plaza or Lafayette to Canalside, Seneca, Church: Riders must transfer to an outbound train at Allen Station or use Route 8 Main. (8 Main buses will operate fare-free between Allen and Canalside stations.)

Metro is changing the way Rail Alerts are received. The new METRO RAIL route subscription allows you to customize what alerts you receive.

How to sign up for the new Rail Alerts:
Visit metro.nfta.com/alerts/subscribe, and sign in to your account. Click the Create Subscription button in the upper right corner.
Select METRO RAIL from the Routes dropdown.
Choose the days and times you want to receive alerts.
Click Create Subscription.

Starting July 2024, Church Street Station will be under construction until 2026. Please use temporary platforms to board the rail.
