Starting January 12 to April 19, Metro Rail will single track between University Station and Humboldt Hospital Station.

During this time, trains will be traveling in both directions (to University & to Canalside) on the inbound track.

Outbound (to University) platforms will be closed at University, LaSalle, and Amherst stations. Please wait for your train at the inbound platform.

Starting July 2024, Church Street Station will be under construction until late 2025. Please use temporary platforms to board the rail.

Metro Rail has started major repairs on the next two projects between Humboldt & University Stations on the outbound track. Just north of Humboldt, we are replacing 8 precast concrete panels that go under the rail and help support/distribute the load of our LRVs (Light Rail Vehicles) to provide a safer and more comfortable experience for riders. In addition, we are replacing 12,500LF of our Overhead Catenary System (OCS) which powers our LRVs throughout the system.
