Rail Rider Alerts

Starting August 5, Metro Rail will be single tracking between Fountain Plaza and Canalside Station on the inbound track (to Canalside).

Passengers with mobility devices will need to board the first rail car when traveling inbound (to Canalside) from any underground station.

Starting October 27, Metro Rail will only operate between University and Allen Station.

Bus shuttle service will be available at Allen Station for inbound and outbound trips between Allen and Canalside stations.

Check the map for bus shuttle stops.

Metro Rail will be single tracking between Fountain Plaza Station and Canalside.

During this time, trains will be traveling in both directions (to University & to Canalside) on the inbound track (to Canalside). Outbound platforms will be closed at Fountain Plaza, Lafayette Square, Church, Seneca, and Canalside stations. Please wait for your train at the inbound platform.

Riders with mobility devices will need to board the first rail car when traveling inbound (to Canalside) from any underground station.

Full aboveground service will resume on December 1. Inbound and outbound platforms will be operational.

Please use temporary platform at Church Station.

Starting July 2024, Church Steet Station will be under construction until late 2025. Please use temporary platforms to board the rail.

400 Block Construction – this major project will replace the rail, track bed, and catenary wiring between Church and Mohawk Streets. In addition, the project will include the installation of a new double crossover, which will make future service interruptions less disruptive to passengers. Metro will also be refurbishing Church Street station in the second phase of this project.
