Want to hike the Eternal Flame with a Park Ranger? Take the 9:45 AM bus from the MTC to the Eternal Flame. The return bus trip departs the Eternal Flame at 12:15 PM. This will be the only drop-off and pick-up available for this destination. Please note all trips times will serve the Chestnut Ridge Casino.
- Duration: 1 – 1.5 hrs
- Elevation: Approximately 200 feet of elevation change; steep in some areas
- Distance: 1.12 miles
- Surface Description: Mud/dirt/roots/water; this trail is very wooded and a portion of the hike will be within the creek
- Equipment Needed: Sturdy waterproof shoes (or shoes you won’t mind getting wet) & drinking water. Those not wearing appropriate shoes will not be able to join the group hike.
