Project Safe Place

NFTA-Metro is proud to participate in Project Safe Place, making any Metro bus a temporary shelter for youths of 12-17 years of age who feel threatened. Look for the yellow, diamond-shaped Safe Place sign decal on Metro buses.

If you need help, all you have to do is state that you need a safe place. You will be linked to Compass House, where trained counselors will work with you to determine the best course of action. Compass House services are voluntary, free, and confidential.

Safe Place services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Learn more at Compass House’s website , or at the National Safe Place Network website.
