Service During Events

For major events, plan your trip accordingly - allow for extra travel time beforehand. Sign up for Metro Alerts, download the Transit App, and check this page periodically for additional information.

Metro Rail

The Metro Rail is free to ride aboveground, between Fountain Plaza and DL&W Station. You must have a paid fare to ride underground, between Allen-Medical Campus and University Station. Purchase a MetGo card or Metro Rail pass at Ticket Vending Machines (TMVs) located in rail stations, or pay with a mobile pass using the MetGo app, Transit App, or Token Transit.

Park and Ride

Free parking is available at University Station and LaSalle Station:
